P Balasubramaniam is an innocuous and even ubiquitous Indian name in Malaysia. He must however, be the talk of the town now. He who was hired by Abdul Razak Baginda to deal with Altantunya, aka Aminah. He whose statements were heavily edited by the Malaysian police in their habitual manipulation of evidence.

Given that Bala has now pointed the country’s fingers directly at Najib Razak, shouldnt the defence lawyers for the (wrongly) accused apply for leave of some sort from the court to extend or re-open the hearing, as there is obviously new evidence?

If the defence lawyers dont do anything, then woe betide the country because not only is the judiciary unreliable, the Malaysian Bar has played ball too – they too are proving themselves either unreliable or incompetent. They are not to be trusted as well.
